Max Philippines takes their travel incentive to the next level as 40 delegates traveled far from South East Asia to the Middle East in Dubai last October 25-28, 2017. Those who qualified for the Say Dubai! Travel Incentive with promotion period from January 1 to March 31, 2017 got to experience the 5-Star Nassima Royal Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights.
With more than 9 hours plane ride from Manila, Philippines, everyone could feel the anticipation of the Associates as they boarded the plane to Dubai. Even as they landed and reached the Nassima Royal Hotel past midnight, the energy of the Associates was still at a high level. They were excited and eagerly awaiting the next day to come to officially start their adventure in Dubai.

The first half of the day was spent touring the city of Dubai, the second largest emirate of the United Arab Emirates. The tour drove through several famous tourist sites of Dubai, like the Za’abeel Palace, the residence of the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed.

A travel incentive trip would not be complete without shopping!
The group got to experience shopping at the local markets of Dubai for souvenirs and other items. To reach the Spice and Gold Souk (market), the group traveled by boat enjoying the view of Dubai’s dry docks.

The highlight of the Day 2 tour was the Desert Safari Adventure. Riding the 4×4 Land Cruisers, everyone got to experience the thrill of going over the topmost sand dunes and gliding down like a roller coaster.
The delegates had the chance to appreciate the vast desert and watch the beautiful sunset hide behind the horizon marking the end of the day. Afterwards, they spent the night at the Bedouin Camp in the middle of the desert where they participated in various activities like camel riding, sand boarding, and getting henna paintings on their hand. Working up an appetite, the group got to partake in an authentic Arabic BBQ dinner and experience the famous Arabic water pipe, shisha. While these were happening, they were also entertained by performances from belly dancers and fire dancers to the beat of Arabic music under the beautiful night-lights of the sky.

A tour around the wonderful city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates was next on the itinerary for the group’s third day in Dubai. Along the way, they didn’t miss the chance to have a photo-op in front of the iconic Burj Al Arab, acknowledged as the only 7-star hotel in the world. They went on to visit the Ferrari World, the world’s first Ferrari Theme Park at Yas Island for the first half of the day. They got to enjoy all of its wonderful and exciting attractions like the Flying Aces, the world’s highest roller coaster loop and the Turbo Track that will let one experience a breathtaking zero gravity fall. Galleria Ferrari and Made in Maranello attractions showcased the different Ferrari cars and how they were made through the years. A beautiful scenery awaited the group as they visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, also known as The White Mosque, the largest mosque in the UAE and the resting place of the first President of UAE and its namesake, Sheikh Zayed. Following strict guidelines, the females had to wear long skirts and long sleeved blouses with a shawl covering their heads.
