Sports Drinks Are a Waste of Your Money

A recent article at Yahoo Health reviews several recent studies by the British Medical Journal (BMJ) about the bogus claims of many sports-drinks companies.

The bottom line?  For years sports-drinks companies have been selling everyone a “need” for performance-enhancing drinks, encouraging people to drink sports drinks even when they’re not thirsty!  The claim was that if you hydrated before a performance with a sports drink then you’re performance and recovery would improve.

The results?  Comparing people who drank sports drinks at moderate and heavy timed rates versus when they were thirsty found “no significant differences in core body temperatures or finishing time.”

What they did find is that these high-calorie drinks are having one significant effect – on rampant childhood obesity!  These high-calorie and sugar-loaded drinks are making significant contributions to obesity rates and tooth-decay in children.
This is why Max International is proud to promote the world’s first Performance DrinkMaxATP doesn’t fill your body with sugars and calories, instead it harnesses the power of RiboCeine™ and ten other nutrients to support the natural cellular production of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), your cells’ natural energy source. MaxATP has only 3 grams of sugar and a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine derived from its antioxidant-rich green tea extract.

This just goes to show that, even when it comes to so-called sports drinks, If It Doesn’t Have RiboCeine, Then it’s Just an Energy Drink.
